About Us

While being customer focused, we, "Apollo Heat Exchangers Pvt. Ltd.", have always used the most appropriate means for accomplishing our goals in sync with customer specific requirements and have conducted our business with the highest degree of ethics. Our peanut organization, namely M/S Apollo Industrial Corporation was incepted in the year 1952 to manufacture Fuel Injection Tube Assemblies for stationary Diesel Engines. Thereafter, in the year 1994, Apollo Heat Exchangers Pvt. Ltd. was established with an aim to offer premium compact Aluminum Heat Exchangers then imported for majority of applications. Within these years, our innovative designs and construction of compact heat exchangers to suit extreme Indian conditions, indigenous technological development in totality, comprehensive quality control procedures, efficiency in business operations and cost down production techniques have helped us to set benchmarks in development and performance of compact Aluminum Heat Exchangers. It has been our endeavor to improve upon our own performances with progress of time.

The above attributes make us one of the leading Designers, Manufacturers, Exporters and Suppliers of All Aluminum Brazed Heat Exchangers in Bar & Plate Design and also in Tube & Fin Design. Also to ensure optimized performance, designs and desired durability of our products, we have Computer Aided Design (CAD), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and back up of testing facilities.

  • Secured development order from CVRDE, Chennai for compact Aluminum Cooling system for CVRDE, Chennai for diesel engine for combat vehicles for Radiators, Oil Coolers, Charge Air Coolers and Fuel Coolers in April 2003 and executed the same by May 2004
  • Secured order for Abhay (DT-600) and Namica projects from VRDE, Ahmednagar for compact Aluminum Heat Exchangers
  • Developed test rig with wind tunnel facility in-house for testing compact heat exchangers 2003
  • Supplied first set of After Coolers and Inter Coolers for electric locomotive compressors for M/S General Electric, USA through M/S Elgi Equipments Ltd. Coimbatore for locos for US Railways to be departed from Alaska to Equator
  • Developed Aluminum Oil Coolers for BEML, KGF for excavators
  • Developed high pressure (testing at 40 kgs/cm2) Hydraulic Oil Coolers for vibratory compactors for M/S Greaves Cotton Ltd. and Chennai, M/S Escorts Ltd., Faridabad
  • Developed cooling units with Aluminum oil coolers and radiators for M/S JCB Group for road rollers, backhoe loader and other earth moving equipments.

Our Vision

Provide most efficient and innovative Air Cooled Heat Exchange solutions by designing, manufacturing and testing newer designs and technology and offer them OEMs of Industrial Machines, Defense Vehicles and Process Fluid Applications. Our research and development unit helps us to remain abreast of changing trends in technology globally. We have the following testing facilities to ensure our products are world-class in every aspect:

  • Test rig for performance testing of Heat Exchangers for air to water, air to oil and water to oil up to 135KW capacity
  • Pneumatic testing up to 16 kgs./cm2g.
  • Hydraulic testing up to 40 kgs./cm2g.
  • Pulsation pneumatic testing up to 7 kgs./cm2g and 8 CPM
  • Pulsation hydraulic testing up to 50 kgs./cm2g and 20 CPM
  • Vibration testing facility for coolers up to 400 kgs.
  • Precision instruments for dimensional checks.

Manufacturing Excellence
  • Manufacturing Vacuum Brazed Heat Exchangers for the first time in India
  • For manufacturing Compact Aluminum Heat Exchangers, Aluminum/Aluminum Alloys, Rods, Sheets, Drawn Aluminum Sections (rectangular tubes with integral fins) and tailor made castings are used as Raw Materials
  • Our manufacturing unit is well equipped with imported welding machines (MIG and TIG), Lincon/Miller
  • Special Jigs and Fixtures designed by us are used for aluminum welding to ensure dimensional accuracy and consistency as per given drawing.
